Poison emerged from the Los Angeles rock scene of the mid-1980s and became one of the most recognizable bands of the glam metal era. Known for their catchy hooks, energetic performances, and party-ready anthems, the band helped define a period when hard rock dominated radio, MTV, and arenas across the United States and beyond. Led by vocalist Bret Michaels, Poison combined hard-driving guitar riffs with pop-influenced melodies that appealed to a broad mainstream audience. The band's breakthrough came with their debut album, Look What the Cat Dragged In (1986), which featured songs such as “Talk Dirty to Me,” “I Want Action,” and “Cry Tough.” Their popularity grew even further with Open Up and Say...
